New Congress about materials research. The Congress "Materials Science and Engineering 2008" takes place for the first time from September 1st till Septemper 4th.
The GKSS Research Centre participates with 54 contributions. Besides the Coordination of the Topic "Structural Materials" (Prof. Wolfgang Kaysser) the following Symposium are also coordinated by the GKSS Research Centre:
- Biomedical Materials (Prof. Andreas Lendlein)
- Light Metals (Prof. Karl-Ulrich Kainer)
- Mechanical Testing (Prof. Norbert Huber)
